Pinterest provides 20 weeks of paid Parental Leave for parents to bond with a newborn or a newly adopted child. Whether you are the primary or secondary carer for the child, during those 20 weeks you receive full pay.
Returning to work after parental leave can be a big change, which is why we offer a gradual return to work period of four weeks to ensure you have the proper time to ramp up and re-engage in your work. This optional program allows you to return to work part-time, working 1-4 days a week with full pay. You may only take one (1) gradual return to work period per birth, adoption or foster care placement. If you choose to not take all 20 weeks continuously, you may choose which leave block you will use the gradual return to work period. If you would like to take a gradual return, this optional form may help you stay organized. Please align on your gradual return schedule at least 1 month before your return to work.
