You have the opportunity to make contributions from your basic salary and invest them in the options available through the plan. To encourage you to use the plan and to boost your savings, Pinterest matches your contribution to your account up to 6% of your base salary.
Find out more about the plan. You will receive personalized communications and consulting about investments through our partnership with our broker, Mercer. Employees who wish to transfer their existing pensions to the Pinterest scheme with Zurich can generally do so. To initiate the process, you should contact your old pension provider and request the necessary documentation for the transfer. Please note that it may take 4-6 weeks to receive this documentation.
Before the transfer can be completed, you must be an official member of the Pinterest Plan. This means being signed up to the Zurich scheme and having your first contributions invested and applied. You should also have received your policy documents.
There are some important considerations to keep in mind before transferring your pension. Please contact Mercer at aspire@zurich.com to discuss these considerations in more detail.

Whether you have children, are expecting, or are thinking about adding to your family in the future, Pinterest supports you with a variety of family benefits.
Pinterest provides 20 (26 for birthing parents) weeks of paid Parental Leave for parents to bond with a newborn or a newly adopted child. For either maternity or paternity leave, during those 20 (or 26) weeks you receive full pay – minus any government benefits you may receive, to avoid duplication.
Returning to work after parental leave can be a big change, which is why we offer a gradual return to work period of four weeks to ensure you have the proper time to ramp up and re-engage in your work. This optional program allows you to return to work part-time, working 1-4 days a week with full pay. You may only take one (1) gradual return to work period per birth, adoption or foster care placement. If you choose to not take all 20 weeks continuously, you may choose which leave block you will use the gradual return to work period. If you would like to take a gradual return, this optional form may help you stay organized. Please align on your gradual return schedule at least 1 month before your return to work.
Due to business needs, in some cases, managers may be unable to accommodate your preferred schedule, subject to any accommodation requests provided for in accordance with medical documentation.
